Sune Wittmann
Sune Alet Wittmann (born 3 February 1995) is a Namibian cricketer. She made her Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut for the Namibia women's cricket team on 5 January 2019, against Zimbabwe, during Zimbabwe's tour of Namibia. In August 2019, she was named in Namibia's squad for the 2019 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament in Scotland. She played in Namibia's opening match of the tournament, on 31 August 2019, against Ireland. In May 2021, she was named in Namibia's squad for the 2021 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament in Rwanda. In Namibia's third match of the tournament, against Botswana, Wittmann scored a match-winning 93 not out from 60 balls. 2021 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament
The 2021 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament was a women's Twenty20 International, women's T20I cricket (WT20I) tournament held in Rwanda from 6 to 12 June 2021. This was the seventh edition of the annual Kwibuka T20 Tournament, first organised 2014 in remembrance of the victims of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, genocide against the Tutsi. All matches were played at the Rwanda Cricket Stadium, Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Kigali. Tanzania women's national cricket team, Tanzania won the 2019 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament, 2019 edition but did not defend the title this year. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). A women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) is an international cricket match between two teams, each having WT20I status, as determined by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the sport's world governing body. The Uganda women's national cricket team represents Uganda in international women's cricket. They played their first matches as part of a triangular series that also involved Kenya and Kenya's A side in January 2006. They played in the African regional qualifiers for the 2009 World Cup in December 2006 against Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. They finished third in the tournament. 2022 Capricorn Women's Tri-Series
The 2022 Capricorn Women's Tri-Series was a Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that was held in Namibia in April 2022. The participating teams were the hosts Namibia, along with Uganda and Zimbabwe. The tournament consisted of a triple round-robin stage followed by a final between the top two teams. The series was the first as head coach of Zimbabwe Women for former international cricketer Gary Brent. Namibia won the opening match of the series, against Zimbabwe, by seven wickets, to record their first ever win against a Full Member side. On day two of the series, Uganda lost both of their matches, the first by twelve runs to Namibia, and then by eight runs to Zimbabwe. Rwanda Cricket Association is the official governing body of cricket sports in Rwanda. Its current headquarters is located in kicukiro district in Kigali city . Rwanda Cricket Association is Rwanda's representative at the International Cricket Council and is an associate member and has been a member of that body since 2003. The Ireland women's cricket team represents Ireland in international women's cricket.
