Sunds Defibrator
Sunds is a town, with a population of 4,299 (1. January 2023), in the municipality of Herning, Central Denmark Region in Denmark. It is located 13 km northwest of Ikast, 39 km southwest of Viborg, 44 km south of Skive and 8 km north of Herning. Etymology The oldest known source for the name Sunds is from 1325, where the form ''Sunzsæ'' appears. Later evidence includes forms such as ''Swndz'' (1495), ''Gammel Sunds'' (1547) and ''Sunds'' (1688). The name is composed of the noun ''sund'', probably in the original meaning of the word ''svømning'', which means 'swimming', and the Old Danish noun ''sǣ'', which is a side form of ''sø'', meaning 'lake'. The name thus means 'swimming lake'. History Even at the census of 1901, Sunds had only 65 inhabitants spread over 13 properties. Old Danish
The Danish language developed during the Middle Ages out of Old East Norse, the common predecessor of Danish and Swedish. It was a late form of common Old Norse. The Danish philologist Johannes Brøndum-Nielsen divided the history of Danish into "Old Danish" from 800 AD to 1525 and "Modern Danish" from 1525 and onwards. He subdivided Old Danish into "Runic Danish" (800–1100), Early Middle Danish (1100–1350) and Late Middle Danish (1350–1525). Runic Danish Old East Norse is in Sweden called ''Runic Swedish'' and in Denmark ''Runic Danish'', but until the 12th century, the dialect was the same in the two countries. The dialects are called ''runic'' because the main body of text appears in the runic alphabet. Ulrik Lindkvist
Ulrik Lindkvist (born 5 March 1981), is a retired Danish professional football (soccer) player, who played as a defender. He played three games for various Danish youth national team selections. Lindkvist played for FC Midtjylland (FCM), and he is a product of the youth work in the club. He mostly plays the position of left back, although he can play almost every position on the field. Nephew (band)
Nephew is a Danish rock band formed in 1996 in Aarhus, Denmark. The band consists of Simon Kvamm (lead vocals, keyboards, songwriting), Kristian Riis (guitar, backing vocals), Søren Arnholt (drums, backing vocals), Kasper Toustrup (bass guitar), René Munk Thalund (keyboards), and Marie Højlund (vocals, keyboards, guitar). The band uses a mixture of Danish and English in their lyrics; most of the band's early songs were in English with minimal Danish lyrics, but the band has since moved to primarily Danish vocals. René Munk Thalund
René Munk Thalund (born 20 November 1971) is the keyboard player in the Danish band Nephew. In addition to his participation in Nephew, he has worked in the electronic genre. In the '90s, he worked with Carsten Heller and Jesper Birk to release electronic music under the name Shanks.dk. The trio were signed under the influential label of R&S Records in Belgium. Nîmes Olympique (commonly referred to as simply Nîmes) is a French association football club based in Nîmes. Alkmaar Zaanstreek (), better known as AZ Alkmaar or simply AZ (), is a Dutch professional football club from Alkmaar and the Zaan district. Kristen Nygaard Kristensen (born 9 September 1949) is a Danish former professional footballer who played for Dutch team AZ Alkmaar and several French clubs.
