Sun Lih-chyun
Sun Lih-chyun (; born 21 October 1961) is a Taiwanese politician. He currently serves as the spokesperson of the Executive Yuan. Education Sun obtained his bachelor's degree in economics from Soochow University in 1984. He then obtained his master's degree in economics and doctoral degree in agricultural economics from Michigan State University in the United States in 1988 and 1993, respectively. Early career Sun was an adjunct associate professor in the department of economics of National Chung Hsing University in 1993–1994. Taiwanese People
Taiwanese people may be generally considered the people of Taiwan who share a common culture, ancestry and speak Taiwanese Mandarin, Hokkien, Hakka or indigenous Taiwanese languages as a mother tongue. Taiwanese people may also refer to the indigenous peoples of the areas under the control of the Government of the Republic of China since 1945, including Penghu as well as Kinmen and Matsu Islands that collectively form its streamlined Fujian Province (see Taiwan Area). National Taiwan University (NTU; ) is a public research university in Taipei, Taiwan. The university was founded in 1928 during Japanese rule as the seventh of the Imperial Universities. The Executive Yuan () is the executive branch of the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Its leader is the Premier, who is appointed by the President of the Republic of China, and requires confirmation by the Legislative Yuan. Kuomintang
The Kuomintang (KMT), also referred to as the Guomindang (GMD), the Nationalist Party of China (NPC) or the Chinese Nationalist Party (CNP), is a major political party in the Republic of China, initially on the Chinese mainland and in Taiwan after 1949.
