Lee Sun-hee (singer)
Lee Sun-hee (; born November 11, 1964) is a South Korean singer-songwriter. She is often referred to as Korea's "National Diva" for her immense popularity, commercial success, and vocal ability. Lee debuted in 1984 with the song, "To J," for which she won first prize in the MBC Riverside Song Festival. She released her first album, ''Ah! The Good Old Days'', the following year in 1985. She released a string of successful albums in the 1980s and early 1990s, and won awards at KBS Song Festival and MBC Ten Singers Song Festival every year from 1984 to 1990, as well as main prize at the Golden Disc Awards every year from 1986 to 1990. The government of South Korea awarded Lee the prestigious Prime Minister's Commendation in 2010 for her contributions to popular culture. Woo Sun-hee
Woo Sun-Hee (hangul: 우선희, hanja: 禹仙姬; born 1 July 1978) is a former South Korean handball player. In 2003, Woo competed in the World Women's Handball Championship held in Croatia and led her team to the bronze medal. She was finally named to the All-Star team of the competition. ''Our Sunhi'' () is a 2013 South Korean film written and directed by Hong Sang-soo. Hong won the Silver Leopard award for Best Director at the 66th Locarno International Film Festival. Plot Sunhi ( Jung Yu-mi) is a recent film school graduate who returns to her alma mater to solicit a recommendation letter from her former professor, Choi Donghyun (Kim Sang-joong), because she wishes to apply for a post-graduate course in America. At first Donghyun tries to dissuade her, stressing the value of practical experience over theory, but he finally agrees, with one caveat: He can only write an "honest" letter, and if it doesn't satisfy her, she is free not to use it.
