Summer Girl
''Summer Girl'' is the sixth studio album by American rock band Smash Mouth, released on September 19, 2006 through Beautiful Bomb Records. This is the last album featuring original guitarist and songwriter Greg Camp. The album was released with the promo single "Story of My Life". The "Story of My Life" music video was filmed in an episode in Season 6 of the VH1 reality show ''The Surreal Life''. "So Insane" was featured as the opening theme to the 2006 film ''Zoom''. An instrumental version of "So Insane" was also used in the opening of the infamous ABC series ''Cavemen'', in its unaired pilot. "Everyday Superhero" was used on the soundtrack of ''The Pacifier'' and ''Zoom''. It was used to advertise the CBS sitcom, ''The King of Queens'', when the show entered its final season. Smash Mouth
Smash Mouth is an American rock band from San Jose, California. The band was formed in 1994, and was originally composed of Steve Harwell (lead vocals), Kevin Coleman (drums), Greg Camp (guitar), and Paul De Lisle (bass). With Harwell's departure in 2021, De Lisle remains the only original member. They are known for their songs "Walkin' on the Sun" (1997), " All Star" (1999), and " Then The Morning Comes" (1999), as well as a cover of The Monkees' "I'm a Believer" (2001). The band adopted retro styles covering several decades of popular music. Sitcom
A sitcom, a portmanteau of situation comedy, or situational comedy, is a genre of comedy centered on a fixed set of characters who mostly carry over from episode to episode. Chris Dugan
Chris Dugan (born May 11, 1973) is an American Grammy-winning audio engineer, cinematographer, record producer, musician, and singer, best known as the drummer of the Effection and as an audio engineer for Green Day. In 2018, along with Green Day members Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt, guitarist Jason White, and tour manager Bill Schneider, he formed The Coverups, for which he plays drums. Mikael Johnston
Mikael Johnston is a musician, producer and remixer best known for his work in electronic dance music. Johnston is a founding member of the San Francisco house music group Mephisto Odyssey which originated in the early 1990s. After a string of successful singles on his own label imprint Mephisto Records (starting with the 12" Dream of The Black Dahlia), Johnston signed with progressive west coast label City of Angels, home to future break beat kings The Crystal Method. Matthew Gerrard is a Canadian record producer and songwriter. Biography Gerrard grew up in Don Mills, a suburb of Toronto's north-east end. He attended George S. Henry Secondary School where he played trombone in band, later playing bass in a school-based 5-piece jazz fusion combo called Nemesis Fusion. Michael Urbano (born March 19, 1966 in Sacramento, California, USA) is a musician, programmer, and record producer. Career One of Urbano's first gigs was as a member of Bourgeois Tagg, a 1980s band that was fronted by Brent Bourgeois and Larry Tagg and included Lyle Workman as the guitarist. They had moderate success with their second album, ''Yo-Yo'', which was produced by Todd Rundgren, and featured the Top 40 hit, "I Don't Mind At All." Steve Harwell
Steven Scott Harwell (born January 9, 1967) is a retired American singer and musician, best known as the former lead vocalist and frontman for the rock band Smash Mouth. He and bassist Paul De Lisle were the only two constant members of the band until Harwell's retirement. Career Greg Camp formed Smash Mouth with Harwell, Kevin Coleman, and Paul De Lisle. Paul Gerald De Lisle (born June 13, 1963) is a Canadian musician and songwriter. He is the bassist and the only consistent member of the pop rock band Smash Mouth since their formation in 1994.
