The India men's national field hockey team represents India in international field hockey competitions, and is governed by Hockey India. The team was formerly under the control of Indian Hockey Federation. India was the first non-European team to be a part of the International Hockey Federation. In 1928, the team won its first Olympic gold medal and until 1960, the Indian men's team remained unbeaten in the Olympics, winning six gold medals in a row. Hockey Junior Asia Cup
The Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup is a men's international under-21 field hockey tournament organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. The tournament has been held since 1988 and serves as a qualification tournament for the Men's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup. Competitors must be under the age of 21 as of December 31 in the year before the tournament is held. The tournament has been won by four different teams: India and Pakistan have the most tiles with three. Malaysia and South Korea have both won the tournament once. The 2015 Men's Junior Asia Cup was the 8th edition of Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup. It was held from 14 to 22 November 2015 at the Wisma Belia Hockey Stadium in Kuantan, Malaysia. India has won the event, beating Pakistan in the Final. The 2014 Sultan of Johor Cup was the fourth edition of the Sultan of Johor Cup. It was held in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia from 12 to 19 October 2014.
