Sujatha Attanayake
Kala Suri Visharadha Dr. Mudunkotuwa Munasinghe Arachchige Sujatha Perera (born 12 May 1942: as සුජාතා අත්තනායක), colloquially known as Sujatha Aththanayaka , is a Sri Lankan songstress and playback singer. She is a prominent playback singer in Sinhala cinema and also in Sri Lankan and Indian Tamil cinema. Considered as the golden bell of Sinhala music, she holds the record for the most number of cassettes produced by a Sri Lankan songstress with more than 115 cassettes in a career spanning more than seven decades. She is the first female music director in Sri Lanka. She contributed for nearly 400 Sinhala films and 20 Sri Lankan-Indian Tamil Films as a playback singer. Kelaniya
Kelaniya ( si, කැලණිය ta, களனி) is a suburb of Colombo in the Western Province, Sri Lanka. It is known for the Buddhist temple built on the banks of the Kelani River, which divides the suburb from Colombo District. The temple is also a religious centre for veneration of the figures Vibhishana and Avalokiteshvara. ''Dheewarayo'' ( si, චෙරියෝ කැප්ටන්) is a 1964 Sri Lankan Sinhala drama film directed by M. Masthan and produced by K. Gunaratnam. It stars Gamini Fonseka and Sandhya Kumari in lead roles with Vijitha Mallika and Hugo Fernando in supportive roles. Music for the film is done by M. K. Rocksamy. The film became a huge blockbuster in that year and received critical acclaim at film festivals. Narada Disasekara (7 June 1933 – 19 May 2010) was a Sri Lankan classical singer. He was the first singer to win the Sarasaviya Award when he was awarded for Best Male Playback Singing in 1964 for his duet ''Galana Gangaki Jeevithe'' with a young Nanda Malini for ''Ranmuthu Duwa''. Personal life He completed education from Kalutara Vidyalaya. Narada's sister's son is Nalendra Amarasinghe and his wife is Girlie. Narada was good at sports like cricket during school times.
