Suhas-Sharfu
Suhas and Sharfu are an Indian screenwriter duo working in Malayalam cinema. They wrote a total of five films, beginning with ''Varathan'' in 2018. Career They were both engineers before their film careers and met through the short film network and social media. Suhas is from Thripunithura and Sharfu from Kozhikode. Suhas and Sharfu were assistant director and associate director respectively for the 2018 film '' Sudani From Nigeria''. Through Sameer Thahir, one of the producers of the movie, they met Amal Neerad. Suhas said in an interview about their first movie, "We had approached Amal Neerad with another script, that didn’t work out instead ''Varathan'' came to be." The movie was well received. ''Virus'' is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language medical thriller film co-produced and directed by Aashiq Abu set against the backdrop of the 2018 Nipah virus outbreak in Kerala. Puzhu
''Puzhu'' (Malayalam: പുഴു; ) is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language psychological drama film directed by debutant Ratheena and jointly written by Harshad and Suhas-Sharfu. The film stars Mammootty in the lead role. Cinematography of the film is handled by Theni Eswar and the film score and songs are composed by Jakes Bejoy. Mammootty played a negative shaded role in the film. Principal photography began on 17 August 2021 at Ernakulam, Kerala. The film was scheduled to release in theatres in the first half of 2022. ''Dear Friend'' is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language thriller film directed by Vineeth Kumar and starring Tovino Thomas and Darshana Rajendran. The film released on 10 June 2022.
