Sub-Central Line
Sub-Central Line of Beijing Suburban Railway (BCR) () is a commuter rail line in Beijing. It runs from Liangxiang railway station in Fangshan District to Qiaozhuang East railway station in Tongzhou District. It provides faster service to reach Beijing's sub-administrative center in Tongzhou from central Beijing. The line is currently in length with 6 stations. Line S1 (Beijing Subway)
Line S1 () of the Beijing Subway is a medium-low speed maglev line. It is operated by the Beijing Mass Transit Railway Operation Corporation Limited. The line was opened on 30 December 2017. It starts from in Shijingshan District and goes west towards in Mentougou District. Description The line uses a medium-low speed magnetic levitation technology which can give a top speed of 105 km/h. Chaoyang District, Beijing
Chaoyang District () is a core district of Beijing. It borders the districts of Shunyi to the northeast, Tongzhou to the east and southeast, Daxing to the south, Fengtai to the southwest, Dongcheng, Xicheng and Haidian to the west, and Changping to the northwest. Chaoyang is home to the majority of Beijing's many foreign embassies, the well-known Sanlitun bar street, as well as Beijing's growing central business district. The Olympic Green, built for the 2008 Summer Olympics, is also in Chaoyang. Dongcheng District, Beijing
The Dongcheng District (; literally "east city district") of Beijing covers the eastern half of Beijing's urban core, including all of the eastern half of the Old City inside of the 2nd Ring Road with the northernmost extent crossing into the area within the 3rd Ring Road. Its area is further subdivided into 17 subdistricts. Settlement in the area dates back over a millennium. It did not formally become a district of the city until the establishment of the Republic of China in 1911. The name Dongcheng was first given to it in a 1958 reorganization; it has existed in its current form since a 2010 merger with the former Chongwen District to its south. Dongcheng includes many of Beijing's major cultural attractions, such as the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Beijing Underground Cross-city Railway
The Beijing underground cross-city railway is a short railway connection in Beijing. The speed limit is 120 km/h. It connects the important transportation hubs Beijing railway station and Beijing West railway station via a tunnel. Fengtai District
Fengtai District () is a district of the municipality of Beijing. It lies mostly to the southwest of the city center, extending into the city's southwestern suburbs beyond the 6th Ring Road, Sixth Ring Road, but also to the south and, to a smaller extent, the southeast, where it has borders with Chaoyang District, Beijing, Chaoyang District and Dongcheng District, Beijing, Dongcheng District. Shijingshan District
Shijingshan District () is an urban district of the municipality of Beijing. It lies to the west of the urban core of Beijing, and is part of the Western Hills area, bordering the districts of Haidian to the northeast and east, Fengtai to the south, and Mentougou to the west. The district consists of 9 subdistricts of Beijing's city proper. Although the hills around Yunju Temple may also be called ''Shijingshan'', they have Chinese characters different from those of the district and hence are unrelated to Shijingshan ''District''. Beijing Railway Station
Beijing railway station (), or simply Beijing station (), is a passenger railway station in Dongcheng District, Beijing. The station is located just southeast of the city centre inside the Second Ring Road with Beijing Station Street to the north and the remnants of the city wall between Chongwenmen and Dongbianmen to the south. The Beijing railway station opened in 1959 and was the largest train station in China at the time. Though superseded by the larger Beijing West and Beijing South stations, this station remains the only one located inside the old walled city.
