Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt–Nördlingen Railway
The Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt–Nördlingen railway is a main line in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, Germany. It branches off the Stuttgart–Ulm railway at Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt station and runs via Aalen to , where it merges with the Augsburg–Nördlingen railway. Between Bad Cannstatt and , the line is part of the long-distance inter-regional connection between Stuttgart and Nuremberg. The line has two tracks from Bad Cannstatt to Goldshöfe and the remaining section is single track. The line is fully electrified and the western section from Stuttgart to Schorndorf is part of the Stuttgart S-Bahn. The line is also known as the ''Remsbahn'' (Rems Railway) or the ''Remstalbahn'' (Rems Valley Railway) and is the main line from Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt via Aalen to Nördlingen. Today the designation ''Remsbahn'' only refers to the section from Stuttgart to Aalen, while the Aalen–Nördlingen section is considered part of the ''Riesbahn'' (Ries Railway). Railway electrification systems using at are used on transport railways in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, and Norway. Waiblingen station is a railway station in the city of Waiblingen in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The station is located at the junction of the Rems Railway (german: Remsbahn) and the Murr Railway (''Murrbahn''). This building still exists; it is about 200 m east of the present station and serves as a residence. The Geislinger Steige ("Geislingen climb") is an old trade route over the low mountain range of the Swabian Jura in southern Germany. It links Geislingen an der Steige with Amstetten and is one of the most famous ascents in the Jura. Goldshöfe–Crailsheim Railway
The Goldshöfe–Crailsheim railway (also known in German as the ''Obere Jagstbahn''—Upper Jagst Railway) is a line from Goldshöfe to Crailsheim in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Goldshöfe Station
Goldshöfe station is a station in the German state of Baden-Württemberg at the junction of the Goldshöfe–Crailsheim railway and the Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt–Nördlingen railway. In addition to its function as a junction station it also serves the towns of Hüttlingen and Buch in the municipality of Rainau, both about two kilometres away.
