Stuart Brightwell
Stuart Brightwell (born 31 January 1979) is a former English football midfielder who spent one season in the USL First Division in the USA. He last played for Horden Colliery Welfare A.F.C. in the Northern League. Currently, he works as a coach at the i2i International Soccer Academy. . Brightwell came up through the Manchester United youth system, before transferring to Hartlepool United in 1998. Brightwell played in 20 games for the Monkey Hangers. He then played for Bishop Auckland and Durham City. In November 2002, he transferred from Durham City to Spennymoor United. In the summer of 2004, he moved back to Durham City before transferring to Billingham Town on 12 October 2004. At Hetton Lyons CC, he scored a hattrick in the FA Sunday Cup Final. Easington, also known as Easington Village, is a village and civil parish in eastern County Durham, England. It is located at the junction of the A182 and B1283, leading north-west to Hetton-le-Hole and south east to Horden. It is near the A19, which travels north to Seaham and Sunderland as well as south to Peterlee and Stockton-on-Tees. The population of Easington Village was 2,164 in 2001, increasing slightly to 2,171 at the 2011 Census. Spennymoor United Association Football Club was an association football club based in Spennymoor, County Durham, England. History Spennymoor United Association Football Club was formed in 1904 as an amalgamation of Spennymoor Town and Weardale Ironopolis. Spennymoor Town was itself an amalgamation of two church football teams in the town, St. Paul's and St. Andrew's in 1890. Weardale Ironopolis was a relatively new club formed in 1901 as a sporting interest for the workers of the Weardale Iron & Coke Works. The “Nops” had a short and successful history in the Croxdale & District League. Spennymoor is a town and civil parish in County Durham, England. It is south of the River Wear and is south of Durham. The civil parish includes the villages of Kirk Merrington, Middlestone Moor, Byers Green and Tudhoe.
