Stryn Turn- og Idrettslag is a Norway, Norwegian multi-sports club from Stryn, Vestland. It has sections for association football, team handball, basketball, track and field, Nordic skiing, alpine skiing, gymnastics, and cycle sport, cycling. The club was founded on 30 December 1898. The men's football team currently plays in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier of Norwegian football, where it has played since 1999 3. divisjon, 1999. Hamarkameratene 2
Norwegian reserve football teams compete at all levels of league football within the Norwegian football league system apart from the top two divisions, Eliteserien and 1. divisjon. The highest league these teams can currently enter is the 2. divisjon, set at the third tier of the league system. The reserve teams are attached to their first teams with a "2" suffix and must play in a lower league than the first team. Furthermore, if a club's first team plays in the 1. divisjon, the reserves team cannot play in the 2. divisjon either. If a reserve team ends up at a promotion spot when it is not allowed to be promoted, the promotion is awarded to best following team in the league standings which is allowed to be promoted. Harald Aabrekk
Harald Olav Aabrekk (born 22 February 1956) is a Norwegian football coach and a former player. He played for Sogndal and Brann in the Tippeligaen, Norway's top professional football league. He has been head coach of Sogndal, Tromsø, Brann, Haugesund, Vålerenga and Aalesund, and has also served as an assistant coach for the Norway national football team. Playing career Aabrekk made his debut for Sogndal in 1974 in the Norwegian Second Division (the third tier of Norwegian football). Except for a short spell at SK Brann, where he played a match in the Tippeligaen (the top division) in 1978, he played for Sogndal throughout his career and was a major contributor to their promotion to the Norwegian First Division in 1981. Mats Solheim
Mats Goberg Solheim (born 3 December 1987) is a former Norwegian footballer who played as a defender. Career Sogndal Solheim started his career at the local club Loen IL, continuing at Stryn TIL in the lower divisions. He initially played as a striker. He attracted interest from the professional club Sogndal, then playing in the Norwegian second tier, during the summer of 2006. He subsequently joined the club and went on to enjoy a promotion to Tippeligaen four seasons later, in 2010. During his time at Sogndal he got known as a utility player, being used in almost every outfield position. He has since established himself as a natural wing back on either flanks. Solheim played a total of 25 games, scoring 4 times, during the 2011 Tippeligaen-season. Steinar Tenden
Steinar Tenden (born 5 April 1978) is a Norwegian footballer who played as a striker for several teams in Norway and Iceland. He played one game in the Norwegian Premier League when he was in SK Brann. Career Tenden initially started in his local club Loen IL, but transferred to Stryn higher in the Norwegian league system, where he scored 88 goals in 81 matches between 2000 and 2002. In 2003, he became one of the few Norwegians who have played in the Icelandic football when he played for KA Akureyri. In the last game of the season he scored a goal that secured KA Akureyri's place in the Úrvalsdeild. After the season, he returned to Stryn in 2004. Ulrik Flo (born 6 October 1988) is a former Norwegian footballer forward who plays for Fjøra. He is the nephew of Jostein Flo and Tore Andre Flo. Per-Egil Hough Flo (born 18 January 1989) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a defender for Sogndal. He is the nephew of Håvard Flo and cousin-nephew of Jostein Flo, Jarle Flo and Tore André Flo. Tore André Flo
Tore André Flo (born 15 June 1973) is a Norwegian former professional football striker and coach who is the manager of 1. divisjon club Sogndal. He was capped 76 times, scoring 23 goals for Norway, and represented his country in 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000, and scored Norway's first goal when Norway won 2–1 against Brazil and advanced to the second round of the 1998 World Cup. During his professional career, he played for Sogndal, Tromsø and Brann in Tippeligaen, before he moved abroad and played for Chelsea. After a successful spell with the English club, he was sold to Rangers for £12 million and became the most expensive Norwegian player. Jostein Flo (born 3 October 1964) is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a forward. Usually a centre-forward or striker, he was known for his physical playing style and aerial dominance, and was also capable of playing on the right flank. He was most recently Director of Football in Strømsgodset. Career At club level, Flo usually played as a centre-forward.
