Mats Solheim
Mats Goberg Solheim (born 3 December 1987) is a former Norwegian footballer who played as a defender. Career Sogndal Solheim started his career at the local club Loen IL, continuing at Stryn TIL in the lower divisions. He initially played as a striker. He attracted interest from the professional club Sogndal, then playing in the Norwegian second tier, during the summer of 2006. He subsequently joined the club and went on to enjoy a promotion to Tippeligaen four seasons later, in 2010. During his time at Sogndal he got known as a utility player, being used in almost every outfield position. He has since established himself as a natural wing back on either flanks. Solheim played a total of 25 games, scoring 4 times, during the 2011 Tippeligaen-season. He attracted interest from several other Norwegian clubs after the successful campaign, but opted to move abroad, signing for Kalmar FF in the Swedish Allsvenskan. Hammarby IF Fotbollförening, more commonly known as Hammarby Fotboll or Hammarby ( or, especially locally, ), is a Swedish football club from Stockholm founded in 1915. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. The 2011 Tippeligaen was the 67th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 20 March 2011 and ended on 27 November 2011. Rosenborg were the defending champions, having secured their twenty-second League Championship on 24 October 2010. The clubs relegated from the Tippeligaen in 2009 were Fredrikstad (after relegation play-offs), Bodø/Glimt and Lyn. HamKam, Notodden, Stavanger and Skeid were relegated to the 2. divisjon in 2009 after finishing from thirteenth to sixteenth place respectively. The 2008 1. divisjon season (referred to as Adeccoligaen for sponsorship reasons) began on 5 April 2008 and ended on 1 November 2008. In 2009, the number of teams in the top tier, Tippeligaen, will expand from fourteen to sixteen. Therefore, 2008 was a transitional season, in which more teams were promoted to the top flight, and less teams relegated to the 2. divisjon, than usual. Automatic promotion was awarded to the teams finishing in the top three places in the standings. Only the two teams at the bottom of the standings were relegated to the 2. divisjon, as opposed to the regular four. The three clubs relegated from the Tippeligaen in 2007 were Odd Grenland, Start and Sandefjord. It was the tenth and final season in which teams competed for two automatic promotion spots and one playoff spot. The 1. divisjon was won by Molde, who finished one point ahead of Ham-Kam. 2016 Hammarby Fotboll Season
The 2016 season was Hammarby Fotboll's 101st in existence, their 47th season in Allsvenskan and their 2nd consecutive season in the league. They competed in Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen during the year. League play started in early April and lasted until early November. Nanne Bergstrand made his third season as manager. Summary The team had a strong run in the 2015-16 Svenska Cupen. They won against Djurgårdens IF in the group stage, before eliminating their other local rival AIK in the quarter finals after a penalty shoot-out. Eventually Hammarby lost in the semi final against BK Häcken, finishing joint third in the tournament. However, during the first half of the league play Hammarby struggled in their fixtures, only winning 3 of the 15 games.
