It is part of Elgin Area School District U46, which also includes Bartlett High School, Larkin High School, South Elgin High School, and Elgin High School. Streamwood is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 39,577. It is a northwest suburb of Chicago, and is a part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Streamwood is one of the three communities that make up the so-called "Tri Village" area, along with Bartlett and Hanover Park. Streamwood was first incorporated as a village on February 9, 1957. Larkin High School
Larkin High School, also known as LHS, is a public four-year high school located in Elgin, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Elgin Area School District U46, which also includes Elgin High School, Bartlett High School, South Elgin High School, and Streamwood High School. History Larkin High School was built in 1962 on the former farm of Cyrus H. Larkin, after whom the school is named. Elgin citizens were divided on the naming of the new west side high school. Many voiced their opinion to the school board that naming it Elgin (West) HS would better rival the original Elgin HS located on the east side of the Fox River in the City of Elgin (thus Elgin East). Super Bowl XLI was an American football game played between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Indianapolis Colts and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Chicago Bears to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2006 season. Matthew James Ulrich (December 30, 1981 – November 5, 2023) was an American professional football player who was an offensive guard for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Northwestern Wildcats. He won Super Bowl XLI with the Colts during the 2006 season over the Chicago Bears. Ulrich was named Northwestern University team captain in 2004 and earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention.
