Storyteller (video Game)
''Storyteller'' is an upcoming puzzle video game designed by Daniel Benmergui and to be published by Annapurna Interactive. The game is scheduled to released on March 23, 2023 for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch. Development ''Storyteller'' has been under development by Argentinian game designer Daniel Benmergui since 2009. An early prototype of the game was awarded the Independent Games Festival's innovation award, the ''Nuovo'', in 2012. Benmergui spoke of the development hell the game was in a Fuckup Nights presentation in 2020, detailing how he abandoned the game in 2015 after being forced to move home to his mother (and subsequently started working on it again). A limited time demo of the game was released in July 2021. Daniel Benmergui
Daniel Benmergui is an independent game designer from Buenos Aires, Argentina known for the creation of art games such as ''Today I Die'', '' I Wish I Were the Moon'', and the upcoming '' Storyteller''. Life and career Benmergui grew up at his childhood home in a rural area inland in Argentina. Benmergui spent much of his childhood exploring outdoors, and hanging out with much older children from his neighborhood. Before becoming an independent game developer, Benmergui was a development director at the French mobile game studio Gameloft, managing more than 120 game developers. When asked by ''Timothy Courtney'' about his time spent at ''Gameloft'', Benmergui stated "My job was to define and enforce policies on how things are supposed to be done, as well as help with complicated technical problems.
