Storyful is a social media intelligence agency headquartered in Dublin, Ireland that is a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp offering services such as social news monitoring, video licensing, and reputation risk management tools for corporate clients. The startup was launched as the first social media newswire, a content aggregator, verifying news sources and online content in Dublin in 2010 by Mark Little, a former journalist with RTÉ News. Mark Little (journalist)
Mark Little (born 1968) is an Irish journalist, television presenter and author. He presented ''Prime Time'' for RTÉ until December 2009. He took a year of leave of absence from RTÉ to pursue a project centered on digital media and global journalism. He launched the project in April 2010, called Storyful. which he sold to News International in 2013. In 2015 he joined Twitter, first as vice president of media and partnerships for Twitter in Europe and later becoming managing director of Twitter in Ireland. He resigned from the position in 2016. Early life and education Little was born in Dublin on 10 September 1968 and lived in Malahide, County Dublin, later moving to Oughterard, County Galway. On January 18, 2019, a confrontation between groups of political demonstrators took place near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
