Stojan Gjuroski ( mk, Стојан Ѓуроски) (born November 6, 1991) is a Macedonian professional basketball player for Ourense in Spain. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2014, where he played for four years. He is also a member of the Macedonian national basketball team since 2013. Macedonian First League (basketball)
The Macedonian First League ( mk, Македонска прва лига, ''Makedonska prva liga'') is the top-tier basketball competition in the Republic of North Macedonia organized by the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia. Macedonian Republic League was transformed in to top division level Macedonian Basketball First League. The 2013–14 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs basketball team represented Louisiana Tech University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bulldogs, led by third year head coach Michael White, played their home games at the Thomas Assembly Center and were first year members of the Conference USA. They finished the season 29–8, 13–3 in C-USA play to finish in a four-way tie for the C-USA regular season championship. They advanced to the championship game of the C-USA tournament where they lost to Tulsa. The North Macedonia men's national basketball team ( mk, Кошаркарска репрезентација на Северна Македонија, Košarkarska reprezentacija na Severna Makedonija) represents North Macedonia in international basketball and is controlled by the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia. 2016–17 Macedonian First League (basketball) Season
The 2016–17 Macedonian First League was the 25th season of the Macedonian First League, with 10 teams participating in it. The season's regular season started on 19 November 2016 and finished on 4 March 2017. MZT Skopje and Karpoš Sokoli joined the league in a further stage. The season finished with the last game of the Finals on 27 May 2017. MZT Skopje won its sixth national title. Teams MZT Skopje participated in both ABA League and EuroCup Basketball. Karpoš Sokoli participated in both ABA League and Balkan International Basketball League. Both teams would join the First League after January 2017 with the start of the second stage.
