Stockholmsnatt
''Stockholmsnatt'' (English: ''Stockholm Night'' or ''The King of Kungsan'') is a Swedish drama film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 23 January 1987, directed by Staffan Hildebrand. Plot The film is loosely based on a true story about Paolo Roberto, later a professional boxer and TV presenter. Because of his Italian roots, Paolo is dealing with an identity crisis. With an admiration of kung fu films and with his teenage aggressions, the kung fu films have a negative impact on him, which tempts him to practice violence on innocent citizens in Stockholm. The films takes place in Kungsträdgården, which normally is a popular meeting place, but is shown differently in the film because it has been occupied by violent teenage gangs. The film was shown amongst students during the late 1980s in order to prevent future violence between rival gangs. However, the film had an opposite effect on the youth who identified with Roberto, and became influential on the violent "kickers ... Liam Norberg
Magnus Liam Norberg né ''Lars Magnus Norberg'' (born 30 December 1969) is a Swedish actor, author, artist, and former criminal. He has acted in several films before and after his imprisonment, such as ''Sökarna'' and ''Blodsbröder''. He was involved in two major robberies in the 1990s and served time in prison for both. Since his release, he has lectured about his Christian faith and continued his acting career, as well as writing and publishing several books about his life experiences. Career Norberg grew up in Hagsätra, to the south of Stockholm. In 1987 he acted in the film ''Stockholmsnatt''. In 1990, he was an accomplice in the Gotabanken robbery (also known as the 930 million-coup) – the robbery of an armored car which was the largest in Swedish history. Paolo Roberto
Paolo Roberto (born 3 February 1969) is a Swedish ex-boxer, actor, and former TV host of partial Italian descent. Boxing career Roberto was born in Upplands Väsby, Stockholms län. He started to compete professionally at the age of 24, but had earlier competed in kickboxing where he became Swedish champion, and before that Taekwondo where he became Nordic champion and repeated Swedish champion. He was known for fighting a lot in the street. He started off his career with four consecutive victories before running into trouble. After fighting a six-round draw against Roy Dehara he came back to the ring to be stopped in the second round against John Duckworth. His coach said in a post fight interview that Paolo refused to give up and that's probably why the referee stopped the fight. Swedish cinema is known for including many acclaimed films; during the 20th century the industry was the most prominent of Scandinavia. Kungsträdgården (Swedish language, Swedish for "King's Garden") is a park in central Stockholm, Sweden. It is colloquially known as ''Kungsan''. The park's central location and its outdoor cafés makes it one of the most popular hangouts and meeting places in Stockholm.
