Stockholmskällan is a database with over 30 000 archive items related to history of Stockholm, made available as a website since 2006 and freely accessible to the public. The main purpose is to present Stockholm's history to students and teachers and to offer primary sources to use in teaching. Organization Stockholmskällan is run by the City of Stockholm and primarily handled by the city's education administration, in cooperation with Stockholm City Archives, Stockholm City Library, Stockholm City Museum and the Museum of Medieval Stockholm. These organizations collaborate with National Archives of Sweden, Spårvägsmuseet, ''Föreningen Stockholms Företagsminnen'' ("Stockholm Business History Association"), the National Library of Sweden and The Unstraight Museum. In the past, the Stockholm City Investigation and Statistics Office has also contributed material. National Library Of Sweden
The National Library of Sweden ( sv, Kungliga biblioteket, ''KB'', meaning "the Royal Library") is Sweden's national library. It collects and preserves all domestic printed and audio-visual materials in Swedish, as well as content with Swedish association published abroad. Being a research library, it also has major collections of literature in other languages. Saltsjön
Saltsjön is a bay of the Baltic Sea that extends from Stockholm archipelago to the inner city of Stockholm. Its innermost part reaches the eastern shore of Gamla stan at Skeppsbrokajen. It is navigable for large craft and the major ferry lines to and from Stockholm pass through it. Östermalmstorg is a square in the district of Östermalm, in Stockholm, Sweden. It is known principal for Östermalm Market Hall (''Östermalmshallen'') which first opened in 1889. Östermalmshallen's interior is a marketplace for food and related delicacies. Östermalmstorg was also the location of the first Åhléns department store which opened in 1932.
