Steven McGarry
Steven Thomas McGarry (born 28 September 1979) is an ex-professional Scottish footballer and former 1st team assistant coach at A-League Men side Perth Glory FC, the club McGarry last played for professionally. He joined Perth Glory in January 2010 after playing at the top level in the Scottish Premier League with St Mirren, Ross County and Motherwell. McGarry is on the Scotland U21s Youngest Scorer list, scoring in the 1997 Toulon Tournament against the USA aged 17 years and 241 days. In March 2018, McGarry was one of four, former St Mirren F.C. players voted by supporters to have a street named in his honour – McGarry Terrace – following a public competition run by Renfrewshire Council to name the streets at the former Love St ground being developed by Sanctuary Scotland into affordable housing. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport. Professional Footballers Australia
The Professional Footballers Australia (PFA), formerly the Australian Soccer Players' Association, is an Australian trade union affiliated with the Australian Council of Trade Unions that represents professional male, female and elite junior soccer players. History Before the PFA, eight previous attempts had been made to form a footballers' association in Australia. The PFA was formed in April 1993 as the Australian Soccer Players' Association. The 2012–13 season was Perth Glory's 8th season since the inception of the A-League and 16th since the club's founding, in 1996. It was their third season with Ian Ferguson as head coach (he was replaced by Alistair Edwards in February 2013). 1999–2000 Scottish First Division
The 1999–2000 Scottish First Division was won by St Mirren, finishing as one of two promoted teams. As the Scottish Premier League was being expanded to twelve teams Dunfermline Athletic were to be joined by Falkirk in a three team playoff against Aberdeen with the top two placed teams entering the Scottish Premier League. However, this did not occur as Falkirk's Brockville Stadium did not meet the then SPL requirements for having a 10,000 all-seater stadium. Christopher John Coyne (born 20 December 1978) is an Australian former soccer player and coach who is currently head of Perth Glory Youth NPL in National Premier Leagues Western Australia (NPLWA). In a 17-year career as a player, Coyne appeared for clubs in Australia, England and China, most significantly for Luton Town for whom he appeared 221 times between 2001 and 2008.
