2012–13 Perth Glory FC Season
The 2012–13 season was Perth Glory's 8th season since the inception of the A-League and 16th since the club's founding, in 1996. It was their third season with Ian Ferguson as head coach (he was replaced by Alistair Edwards in February 2013). Home Stadia Due to redevelopment reducing the capacity to 9500, the 2012/2013 A-League season saw the club reclaim Patersons Stadium (formerly Subiaco Oval) as a home stadium in addition to their traditional home at nib Stadium. Perth Glory had not competed at Patersons Stadium since the 2003–04 National Soccer League (NSL) Preliminary Final, where they defeated Adelaide United by five goals. Perth Glory FC
Perth Glory Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Perth, Western Australia. It competes in the country's premier men's competition, A-League Men, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues. Founded in 1995, Perth Glory is one of three A-League clubs to survive from the now-defunct National Soccer League (NSL), playing their debut match in this competition in October 1996 for the 1996–97 season. Perth established itself as a major side within Australian soccer in the final seasons of this league, with managers Bernd Stange and Mich d'Avray leading the club to three league Premierships and two Championships from four grand final appearances within a five-season period. Jack Clisby is an Australian soccer player who plays as a centre back or left back, for A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers. Evan James Berger (born 16 August 1987) is a former Australian footballer who last played for Marconi Stallions. Club career Early career He has been involved in football since he was young, playing for the Burragorang District soccer club. Steven Thomas McGarry (born 28 September 1979) is an ex-professional Scottish footballer and former 1st team assistant coach at A-League Men side Perth Glory FC, the club McGarry last played for professionally. He joined Perth Glory in January 2010 after playing at the top level in the Scottish Premier League with St Mirren, Ross County and Motherwell. Adrian Zahra (born 24 September 1990) is an Australian professional footballer who plays for National Premier League club Heidelberg United. Liam Miller
Liam William Peter Miller (13 February 1981 – 9 February 2018) was an Irish professional footballer. Miller began his career with Celtic and was later loaned to Aarhus in 2001. He returned to Celtic Park and broke into the first-team squad during the 2003–04 season. Rejecting the offer of a new contract from Celtic, he joined Manchester United in 2004 on a free transfer under the Bosman ruling. Loaned to Leeds United during the 2005–06 season, Miller made 22 first-team appearances for Manchester United. Dean Heffernan
Dean James Heffernan (born 19 May 1980) is a former professional football (soccer) player. Club career With the Central Coast Mariners he scored 8 goals from left back in 24 games and was subsequently named in FourFourTwo's A-League dream team. In March 2006, he and teammate Michael Beauchamp had a ten-day trial with German Bundesliga club Nürnberg. On 1 July 2006, both players transferred to Nürnberg on season-long loans. Heffernan struggled to get senior games only appearing on the bench for the first team, although he played eight games in the reserves scoring five goals.
