Steven Akers
Stephen Marc Akers (born 20 September 1988 in Derby) is an English footballer who plays for Hollywood United Hitmen in the USL Premier Development League. Career England Akers was a trainee at English League Two side Notts County, and played extensively in the team's youth system before making the step up to the senior side in 2006. He made his professional debut for County on 17 October 2006 in a Football League Trophy game against Barnet. Ventura County Fusion is an American soccer team based in Ventura, California, United States. Founded in 2006, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The team plays its home games in the stadium on the campus of Ventura College, the VC SportsPlex, where they have played since 2011. The team's colors are blue, orange and white. All home games are streamed live on the Fusion's YouTube channel. All broadcasts are done in conjunction with CAPS TV in Ventura.
