Steve Yates (footballer, Born 1970)
Stephen Yates (born 29 January 1970) is an English football coach and former professional footballer. As a player who played as a defender, who notably played in the Premier League for Queens Park Rangers, as well as in the English Football League for Bristol Rovers, Tranmere Rovers, Sheffield United, Huddersfield Town and Morecambe. He also played non-league football for Scarborough and Halifax Town before retiring with Welsh Premier League club Caernarfon Town. In 2013, he returned to his first club, Bristol Rovers, as the club's new kit manager, A year later he combined this role with coaching. Playing career Yates began his footballing career as a YTS trainee at Bristol Rovers in 1986. In seven years with his home town club he played 197 games without scoring any goals. Stroud is a market town and civil parish in Gloucestershire, England. It is the main town in Stroud District. The town's population was 13,500 in 2021. Peter Jackson (footballer Born 1961)
Peter Allan Jackson (born 6 April 1961 in Bradford, England) is a football manager and former footballer. He has previously had two spells as Huddersfield Town manager, whom he helped win the Division Three play-off in 2004, and he has also managed Lincoln City, before taking charge at his former playing club Bradford City in 2011. As a player, Jackson started his career with his hometown club Bradford City, where as the club's youngest ever captain, he lifted the Third Division title in 1985 on the day of the Bradford City stadium fire. The 2000 Football League Cup Final was played between Leicester City, in their third final appearance in four years, and First Division side Tranmere Rovers at Wembley Stadium on 27 February 2000. It was the 34th and last League Cup Final to be played at the original Wembley Stadium. Leicester won 2–1 to become the last team to win the League Cup at the old Wembley.
