Steve Wiebe
Steven J. Wiebe (; born January 3, 1969) is an American two-time world champion of the video game ''Donkey Kong'', most recently holding the title from September 20, 2010, to January 10, 2011, with a high score of 1,064,500. Wiebe was the first person to achieve over a million points in Donkey Kong, with 1,006,600 on July 4, 2004. He is one of the primary subjects of the 2007 documentary '' The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters''. Like his ''Donkey Kong'' rival Billy Mitchell, Wiebe was put in a Topps Allen & Ginter baseball set, which is featured in the 2009 edition of the baseball product. G4 (also known as G4TV) was an American pay television and digital network owned by Comcast Spectacor that primarily focused on video games. The network was originally owned by G4 Media, a joint venture between the NBCUniversal Cable division of NBCUniversal and Dish Network, and first launched on April 24, 2002. In late 2012, G4's studio programming ceased in preparation for a planned relaunch as Esquire Network, as part of a licensing deal with Hearst Corporation, owner of ''Esquire (magazine), Esquire'' magazine.
