Steve Tuckwell
Steven Tuckwell (born 1968 or 1969) is a British politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Uxbridge and South Ruislip in Greater London since the 2023 by-election, in which he succeeded Boris Johnson, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. A member of the Conservative Party, he has also sat on Hillingdon Borough Council since 2018. Early life and career before Parliament Steven Tuckwell was born in Hillingdon Hospital. His family have lived in Hillingdon for three generations. He attended local schools including Bishop Ramsey School in Ruislip. Tuckwell previously worked as a manager for Royal Mail. In the May 2018 election, he was elected a Conservative councillor for the ward of South Ruislip on Hillingdon London Borough Council. Keir Alexander Mather (; born 1998) is a British Labour politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Selby and Ainsty from the 2023 by-election until 30 May 2024. At the time of his election, aged 25, Mather became the Baby of the House. Early life and education Keir Mather was born in 1998 in Kingston upon Hull. He was named after Keir Hardie, the founder of the Labour Party. Mather grew up in Brough, East Riding of Yorkshire. His mother, Jill Tambaros (née Golding), is a supply teacher, and his father, Mick Mather, is a support worker. His father is also a Labour Party activist.
