Steve Nguyen
Steve Nguyen (born December 30, 1985) is a Vietnamese-American director, writer, artist and film producer. Nguyen and fellow director Choz Belen formed Studio APA, a multimedia collective that specializes in the production of animated films, children's books and music videos. Career Films From 2001 to 2005, Nguyen has made appearances as a young actor on films and network television programs such as ''Las Vegas'', '' Scrubs'', ''Freaks and Geeks'', ''Are You Afraid of the Dark?'' and ''The Man Show.'' He worked as a production assistant at Universal Pictures on Jarhead and '' The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift''. In 2009, Nguyen directed and produced a short documentary film titled "The Making of a Memoir" in collaboration with Vietnamese author Lac Su to promote his HarperCollins published memoir, ''I Love Yous Are For White People.'' Wing Luke Museum Of The Asian Pacific American Experience
The Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience is a history museum in Seattle, Washington, United States, which focuses on the culture, art and history of Asian Pacific Americans. It is located in the city's Chinatown-International District. Established in 1967, the museum is a Smithsonian Institution affiliate and the only pan-Asian Pacific American community-based museum in the country. It has relocated twice since its founding, most recently to the East Kong Yick Building in 2008. First started in 2003, the Vietnamese International Film Festival (also known as ViFF) is a biennial film festival organized by the non-profits Vietnamese-American Arts & Letters Association (VAALA) and University of California, Los Angeles, UCLAs VietNamese Language and Culture (VNLC). Japanese American National Museum
The is located in Los Angeles, California, and dedicated to preserving the history and culture of Japanese Americans. Founded in 1992, it is located in the Little Tokyo area near downtown. The museum is an affiliate within the Smithsonian Affiliations program. The museum covers more than 130 years of Japanese-American history, dating to the first Issei generation of immigrants. William Frederick Knight
William Frederick Knight (December 6, 1933 – November 8, 2022), sometimes credited as William Knight, William Frederick, or Frederick Knight, was an American voice actor who lent his voice to the English dubs of anime and video games. Jane Lui is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Southern California. Biography Lui grew up in Hong Kong and at the age of 12, she moved to the United States. Her musical influences include Tori Amos, Kate Bush, and Björk. She has opened for Jason Mraz, Jim Bianco, Kate Earl, Vienna Teng, Tom Brosseau, and others. In 2004, she started her solo career. is a Japanese actor known for his work in commercials, cartoons, and video games. Since 2005, he has voiced the role of Toshi Yoshida on Fox's ''American Dad!''. Connie K. Lim, professionally known as Milck (stylized as MILCK), is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter. A child of immigrants from Hong Kong, she initially performed as an independent artist for several years, and rose to widespread attention after a video of a performance of her song "Quiet" at the 2017 Women's March became popular, and became embraced as a feminist anthem for the movement. The film centers around Kaz Suyeishi, a woman in her late fifties who begins to reminisce about her earlier years living in Hiroshima, Japan during the aftermath of the atomic bombing.
