Steve Marshall (magician)
Steve Marshall is a Tokyo-based Magic (illusion), magician, clown, writer and artist who performs in English and Japanese. Marshall became interested in magic at age eight when he received a Marshall Brodien TV Magic Set for Christmas. In 1983 Marshall attended the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College in Venice, Florida. Upon graduation, he was one of only eleven students to receive a performing contract to tour with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, The Greatest Show on Earth. Magic (illusion)
Magic, which encompasses the subgenres of illusion, stage magic, and close up magic, among others, is a performing art in which audiences are entertained by tricks, effects, or illusions of seemingly impossible feats, using natural means. Clown
A clown is a person who performs comedy and arts in a state of open-mindedness using physical comedy, typically while wearing distinct makeup or costuming and reversing folkway-norms. Marshall Brodien
Marshall Brodien (July 10, 1934 – March 8, 2019) was a professional magician who played Wizzo the Wizard, a wizard clown character which appeared on WGN-TV's '' Bozo's Circus'' and ''The Bozo Show'' from 1968-1994. Early life Brodien was born and raised in Chicago. At age 8, he took an interest in magic after a magician came to perform at his school. He never graduated high school and began working at age 14, selling and demonstrating magic tricks and novelties at the Magic Center in downtown Chicago. At age 16, Brodien worked at Chicago's Riverview Park, performing magic tricks. Brodien served in the Army during the 1950s at Fort Carson in Colorado and performed more than 700 shows while in the Army at hospitals, non-commissioned officers clubs and private parties. Ringling Bros
The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus (also known as the Ringling Bros. Circus, Ringling Bros., the Barnum & Bailey Circus, Barnum & Bailey, or simply Ringling) is an American traveling circus company billed as The Greatest Show on Earth. A documentary film or documentary is a non-fictional film, motion-picture intended to "document reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction, education or maintaining a Recorded history, historical record". Zephyrhills
Zephyrhills is a city in Pasco County, Florida, United States. The population was counted at 17,194 in the 2020 census. It is a suburb of the Tampa Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area. Zephyrhills is also known as the headquarters of the Zephyrhills bottled water company and is a member of Tree City USA. Zephyrhills High School
Zephyrhills High School is a public high school in Zephyrhills, Florida, United States. It is one of fifteen public high schools in the District School Board of Pasco County. ZHS athletic teams compete as the Bulldogs. History Zephyrhills High School was created from the consolidations of one-room schools in the Zephyrhills area. Students at the former Union, Childers, and Independence schools were consolidated into the new Zephyrhills school, which was located at the corner of Seventh Avenue and Sixth Street. The new school opened in September 1910. The first principal was Judge J.W. Sanders, who later became the superintendent of Pasco County Schools. ''Penn & Teller: Fool Us'' is a magic competition television show in which magicians perform tricks in front of American magician-comedian duo Penn & Teller.
