Steve Jocz
Steve Jocz (born 23 July 1981) is a Canadian musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the former drummer for the Canadian rock band Sum 41. Early life Jocz formed Sum 41 in 1996 alongside Deryck Whibley. Jocz graduated from Exeter High School in 1999. Professional career Sum 41 In 1999, the band signed an international record deal with Island Records. The band released their debut album, ''All Killer No Filler'' in 2001. The band achieved mainstream success with their first single from the album, "Fat Lip", which reached number-one on the '' Billboard Modern Rock Tracks'' chart and remains the band's most successful single to date. ''Screaming Bloody Murder'' is the fifth studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41, released on March 29, 2011, after many delays. It is the band's second album produced by frontman Deryck Whibley. It is the band's last album to be released on Island Records before they had fulfilled their contract with the major label in 2016 and their first album not to be released on Aquarius Records, which they left in 2010. The album has received mixed reviews. It is the last album to be released with longtime original drummer, Steve Jocz before he announced his departure from the band in April 2013. Even though new guitarist Tom Thacker was already a part of the band and co-wrote the title track of the album, all guitars were still recorded by singer Deryck Whibley. Half Hour Of Power
''Half Hour of Power'' is the debut extended play by Canadian rock band Sum 41. It was released on June 27, 2000 on Big Rig Records, a subsidiary of Island Records (United States), and Aquarius Records (Canada). The cover features the band's then-drummer Steve Jocz aiming a Nerf gun up in the air and standing in front of an explosion in the background. Though officially an EP, ''Half Hour of Power'' may also be considered the band's debut studio album. Most of the songs featured on the EP were included as bonus tracks on Sum 41's actual debut studio album ''All Killer No Filler'', which featured a re-recorded version of ''Half Hour of Powers sixth track "Summer". Vans Warped Tour
The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the tour’s main sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. Although Vans continued as main sponsor and lent its name to the festival, other sponsors also participated, with stages or other aspects of the festival being named after them on occasion. The Vandals
The Vandals are an American punk rock band, established in 1980 in Orange County, California. They have released ten full-length studio albums, two live albums, and have toured the world extensively, including performances on the Vans Warped Tour.
