Steve Ford (footballer)
Stephen Derek Ford (born 17 February 1959) is an English former footballer who played in the Football League for Stoke City. Career Ford was born in Shoreham-by-Sea and played amateur football with local side Lewes before being given a contract by First Division side Stoke City in 1981. He made two appearances for the club towards the end of the 1981–82 season. Shoreham-by-Sea (often shortened to Shoreham) is a coastal town and port in West Sussex, England. The town is bordered to its north by the South Downs, to its west by the Adur Valley and to its south by the River Adur and Shoreham Beach on the English Channel. Stafford () is a market town and the county town of Staffordshire, in the West Midlands region of England. It lies about north of Wolverhampton, south of Stoke-on-Trent and northwest of Birmingham.
