Steve Watson
Steven Craig Watson (born 1 April 1974) is an English football manager and former professional player. He was formerly the manager of club Chester. As a player, he was a right-back or midfielder. He played in the Premier League and Football League for Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Everton, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield Wednesday. He was capped once by the England national B team, having previously played twelve times and scored once for the under-21s. Watson moved into coaching after retiring from playing and was appointed as an academy coach at Huddersfield Town under former teammate Lee Clark in 2010. He then followed Clark to Birmingham City before a spell as assistant manager of Macclesfield Town. He was given his first managerial role in 2017 when he joined Gateshead, before becoming York City manager in 2019. He left the club in 2021 before joining Chester the same year. Steve Watson (athletic Director)
Steve Watson is the current director of athletics for Loyola University Chicago. He previously served as athletic director at St. Bonaventure University from 2006 to 2014, and as an associate athletic director at Eastern Michigan University from 2001 to 2006. Watson attended college at Rutgers University and Bowling Green State University, where he played on both school's college basketball teams. Steve Watson (linebacker)
Steve Watson (born April 9, 1982) is a former American football linebacker who last played for the Dallas Vigilantes of the Arena Football League. Prior to this, he played for the Tulsa Talons (one year) and the San Jose SaberCats (two years). He won an ArenaBowl with the SaberCats in 2007. Watson played football at Missouri State University (then called Southwest Missouri State University) from 2001 to 2004. He was a starter during his final two years at the school; at the end of his collegiate career, he had tallied some 238 tackles and 11 sacks. Following the NFL Draft, in which he was not selected, Watson opted to join the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League. Steve Ross Watson (born May 28, 1957) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He later became a wide receivers coach. College career After high school at St. Mark's High School in Wilmington, Delaware, Watson attended Temple University. In four seasons for the Owls, Watson caught 98 passes for 1,629 yards (5th in school history) and 7 touchdowns. He was also a star on the track and field team as a long jumper, winning two conference titles. He was inducted into the school's athletic hall of fame in 1995. Stephen Watson (poet)
Stephen Watson (6 November 1954 – 10 April 2011) was a South African poet. Most of his poetry is about the city of Cape Town, where he lived most of his life. His schooling was at Bishops (Diocesan College) in Rondebosch. He was a professor in English at the University of Cape Town. He was also the Director of the Writing Centre there, and one of the founders of the Creative Writing Program. Creatively, he believed that poetry and literature can stand on their own and need not refer to politics, or the struggle for liberation, in order to be valid. He took a strong stand on poetic relativism, believing it was possible and desirable to differentiate between "good" and "bad" poetry - a stance that has drawn criticism. As a literary critic, Watson suggested that "South Africa is held together by a nexus of peoples 'dreaming' each other in terms of the myths that the distance between them creates." Stephen Watson (born 18 February 1973 in Durban, South Africa) is a South African racing driver who tested for the Arrows Formula One team in 1998 to 1999. Sir Stephen John Watson FRSE FRIC FRAgS CBE (24 March 1898 – 25 June 1976) was a 20th-century British agriculturalist. He had an expert knowledge of the nutritional values of hay, straw and silage under different conditions. In 1947 he founded the Edinburgh Centre of Rural Economy (ECRE) at Bush House, near Penicuik. Life He was born on 24 March 1898 in Chanchamayo in Peru the son of William Watson, an accountant. He was educated at Lima in Peru. Life He was born on 20 March 1916 the son of George Watson and his wife, Elizabeth Layborn Gall.
