Stephen Wyn Roberts (born 24 February 1980) is a Welsh former professional footballer who most recently played for Walsall. He has also represented Wales at under-21 level. Stephen C. "Stevo" Roberts (born 26 April 1957 from Wisbech, Cambridgeshire) is an English professional darts player, who played in British Darts Organisation events. Career Roberts wins of the 2005 Latvia Open Champions, he defeating Peter Manley of England. Roberts is a Wisbech Super League player and makes his living as a tarmac layer. He qualified for the 2006 BDO World Darts Championship, winning one of six places available in the International Playoffs. Stephen Frederick Roberts (1958 - July 2022) was an historian of nineteenth-century Britain who wrote extensively about Chartism and Birmingham in the Victorian era. He was educated at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School in Sutton Coldfield and the University of Birmingham, from where he held B.A. and M.Litt. degrees. At the University of Birmingham he was taught by the leading historian of Chartism, Dorothy Thompson, who had been a major influence on his work. This is reflected in the co-editing of a festschrift for Thompson entitled 'The Duty of Discontent' (1995), a collaboration with her on a collection of contemporary illustrations entitled 'Images of Chartism' (1998) and the editing of a posthumous collection of her writings entitled 'The Dignity of Chartism' (2015). Stephen John Roberts (born 6 December 1958) is an Anglican priest. From 2015 to 2020 he was Deputy Diocesan Secretary in the Diocese of Southwark. He was the Archdeacon of Wandsworth from 2005 to 2015. He was made an Honorary Canon of Southwark in September 2015. Roberts was educated at Newcastle-under-Lyme High School and King's College London. Following training at Westcott House, Cambridge, he served as a curate at St Mary's Riverhead with St John's Dunton Green and then at St Martin-in-the-Fields. After this he was vicar of St George's Camberwell followed by 11 years as warden of the Trinity College Centre in Peckham. Stephen Cornelius Roberts (born 1952) is an American painter best known for his painting series of eight murals in the Memorial Chamber of the Nebraska State Capitol. Life and career Stephen Cornelius Roberts was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1952. Roberts’ original focus was as a serious musician and went to California to pursue a recording contract with a friend. In 1979 he switched his attention to art as his professional direction. Roberts graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in painting (under painter Peter Hill) in 1976. Roberts became a full-time artist in 1979. In 1981, with advice and encouragement from Ivan Karp, he went to New York City to find a gallery and was accepted into a small gallery at the time. By October 1990, Roberts was represented by the Allan Stone Gallery in New York City (the gallery of artists such as Wayne Thiebaud, Richard Estes, and William Beckman).
