Stephen Moore (1836–1897), was an Irish Conservative politician in the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. He was born at Barne, Clonmel, County Tipperary. He was the son of Stephen Moore and Anna Pennefather, daughter of Colonel Kingsmill Pennefather and his first wife Rebecca Maria Persse, who was a cousin of the celebrated writer Lady Gregory. Stephen Moore, 2nd Earl Mount Cashell
Stephen Moore, 2nd Earl Mount Cashell (19 March 1770 – 27 October 1822), styled Lord Kilworth between 1781 and 1790, was an Anglo-Irish politician. Moore was the eldest son of Stephen Moore, 1st Earl Mount Cashell, and Lady Helena Rawdon, daughter of John Rawdon, 1st Earl of Moira. He became known by the courtesy title Lord Kilworth after his father was elevated to an earldom in 1781. He was returned to the Irish House of Commons for Clonmel in May 1790, but was forced to resign his seat after only a few days on the death of his father. As the holder of an Irish peerage, Lord Mount Cashell was not allowed an automatic seat in the English House of Lords on the formation of the Union in 1800. However, in 1815 he was elected an Irish Representative Peer, replacing the deceased Earl of Westmeath, and was able to take his seat in the House of Lords. Stephen "Scott" Moore (born November 10, 1969) is a retired American Paralympic judoka who competed in international level events. He was the first American judoka to win a gold medal in either Olympic or Paralympic judo at the 2000 Summer Paralympics. He is now a judo coach in Denver who teaches Paralympic judoka at elite level, he was the head coach for the American judo team at the 2012, 2016 Summer Paralympics, and 2020 Summer Paralympics. Stephen Moore, 1st Viscount Mount Cashell (1696 – 26 February 1766), known as The Lord Kilworth between 1764 and 1766, was an Irish politician. Moore was the son of Richard Moore, of Cashell, County Tipperary, by the Honourable Elizabeth Ponsonby, daughter of William Ponsonby, 1st Viscount Duncannon. He was returned to the Irish House of Commons for County Tipperary in 1738, a seat he held until 1761. In 1764 he was raised to the Peerage of Ireland as Baron Kilworth, of Moore Park in the County of Cork. Two years later he was further honoured when he was made Viscount Mount Cashell, of the City of Cashell, also in the Irish peerage. Lord Mount Cashell married Alicia Colville, daughter of Hugh Colville and Sarah Margetson, and granddaughter of Sir Robert Colville and his third wife Rose Leslie. They had several children. Stephen Colin Moore (born 11 November 1980) is a retired English cricketer. Moore is a right-handed opening batsman (and part-time right-arm medium pace bowler) who played first-class cricket most recently for Derbyshire County Cricket Club in 2014. He previously played for Worcestershire from 2003 until 2009 and Lancashire County Cricket Club from 2009 until 2013. Educated at St Stithians College in Johannesburg and at Exeter University, from which he graduated MEng, Moore is also a keen saxophonist. Worcestershire His highest score is 246, scored against Derbyshire in May 2005.
