Stephen Maloney
Stephen Thomas Maloney (8 July 1960 – 1 March 2021) was an Australian professional tennis player. Maloney was the top ranked junior in Canberra at the age of 16 and won the national Under-19 Hardcourt Championships in 1977. He received a scholarship to play collegiate tennis for the University of Georgia and was there from 1978 to 1980, before deciding to turn professional. Tennis
Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. The object of the game is to manoeuvre the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return.
