Stephen Allan
Stephen Douglas Allan (born 18 October 1973) is an Australian professional golfer. Allan was born in Melbourne. His parents emigrated from Edinburgh, Scotland three years before he was born. He turned professional in 1996 and was a member of the European Tour from 1997 to 2000. In 1998, his second season in Europe, he won the German Open and finished sixteenth on the Order of Merit, and that remains his most successful year. His other professional win came in his home country, at the 2002 Australian Open. From 2001 to 2005 he was a member of the U.S.-based PGA Tour, with his best finishes being second placings at the Greater Milwaukee Open in 2003, and the Reno-Tahoe Open in 2004. In 2006, he played on the Nationwide Tour in the United States, before regaining his PGA Tour card at the 2006 Qualifying School. The Open Championship
The Open Championship, often referred to as The Open or the British Open, is the oldest golf tournament in the world, and one of the most prestigious. Founded in 1860, it was originally held annually at Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland. Later the venue rotated between a select group of coastal links golf courses in the United Kingdom. It is organised by the R&A. The Open is one of the four men's major golf tournaments, the others being the Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open. Vaughn Taylor
Vaughn Joseph Taylor (born March 9, 1976) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and Web.com Tour. Born in Roanoke, Virginia, Taylor was raised in Augusta, Georgia, from infancy. After attending Hephzibah High School, he played golf for Augusta State University where he was an honorable mention All-American his senior season. He continues to reside in the Augusta area with his wife, Leot. Taylor turned professional in 1999. Scott McCarron
Scott Michael McCarron (born July 10, 1965) is an American professional golfer who was formerly a member of the PGA Tour but now plays on the PGA Tour Champions. McCarron was born in Sacramento, California and graduated from Vintage High School in Napa, California. He was a member of the golf team at UCLA, graduating in 1988 with a major in History. Unlike most golfers, McCarron did not transition right away from the college to the professional ranks – he gave up golf for four years (1988–1992) to work with his father in the family golf apparel business. Hunter Myles Mahan (born May 17, 1982) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He is a winner of two World Golf Championship events, the 2010 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and the 2012 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. Reno–Tahoe Open
The Barracuda Championship is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in California. Founded in 1999, it is an alternate event played annually in August. Previously played at Montrêux Golf and Country Club outside Reno, Nevada, the tournament moved to Tahoe Mountain Club's Old Greenwood course, located in nearby Truckee, California, in 2020. Until 2010, the tournament was played in August, the same week as the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. For its first three years, it had a full field of 156 players, while the World Golf Championship event had a field of about 40. When the WGC event expanded to about 80 players in 2002, the field for the Reno–Tahoe Open was reduced to 132 players. Craig David Parry (born 12 January 1966) is an Australian professional golfer. He has been one of Australia's premier golfers since turning professional in 1985, and has 23 career victories, two of those wins being events on the PGA Tour; the 2002 WGC-NEC Invitational and the 2004 Ford Championship at Doral. Aaron John Baddeley (born 17 March 1981) is an Australian professional golfer. He was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire, USA and now plays on the U.S.-based PGA Tour, he has joint U.S. and Australian citizenship and was raised in Australia from the age of two.
