Jasmin Glaesser
Jasmin Duehring (née Glaesser; born July 8, 1992) is a German-born Canadian cyclist, who currently rides for American amateur team . Duehring was part of the Canadian team that won bronze medals at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's team pursuit. She was also part of the team that won gold at the 2011 Pan American Games in the team pursuit. Career Duehring took up cycling in 2009 when seeking a lower-impact sport after suffering hip injuries as a runner whilst at Terry Fox Secondary School. Glaesser also participated in ballet and figure skating whilst growing up. Her first competition for Canada was at the 2011 Pan American Games where she won gold for her new nation. Gillian Carleton (born 3 December 1989) is a Canadian road and track cyclist. Carleton won the bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics in the women's team pursuit. In preparation for the Olympics they finished second in the team pursuit at the Track Cycling World Cup in London in February 2012. Laura Brown (cyclist)
Laura Brown is a Canadian cyclist who competes on the track and road including as a member of the Canadian team pursuit team. As a reserve, Brown was part of the Canadian team that won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics in the women's team pursuit. She was also part of the team that won gold at the 2011 Pan American Games in the team pursuit. She also won the points race at the Manchester round of the 2013–14 UCI Track Cycling World Cup. Brown took up cycling in 2002 after giving up competing in gymnastics due to an ongoing back injury. In October 2014 the UnitedHealthcare Women's Team announced that Brown would be part of their squad for the 2015 season. In 2016, she was officially named in Canada's 2016 Olympic team. The 2010–2011 UCI Track Cycling World Cup Classics was a multi race tournament over a season of track cycling. The season ran from 2 December 2010 to 20 February 2011. The 2009–10 UCI Track Cycling World Cup Classics is a multi race tournament over a season of track cycling. The season ran from 30 October 2009 to 24 January 2010. Liberty Classic
The Liberty Classic was an annual women's bicycle race held from 1994 to 2012, simultaneously with the Philadelphia International Championship. The 57.6 mile race consisted of four laps of a 14.4 mile circuit through Philadelphia with 5 climbs up the famous Manayunk Wall. It was part of the UCI Women's Road World Cup until 2001. From 2002, it was an Elite Women's Category 1 event under UCI race classifications. The Liberty Classic was the final leg of the inaugural 2006 Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling for women. The Triple Crown was a one-week, 3-race circuit, with the three races taking place in the Eastern Pennsylvania cities of Allentown, Reading and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
