Step Up Revolution
''Step Up Revolution'' (released in some countries as ''Step Up 4: Miami Heat'') is a 2012 American 3D dance film directed by Scott Speer (in his feature film directorial debut) and written by Amanda Brody. It serves as a sequel to ''Step Up 3D'' and the fourth installment in the ''Step Up'' film series. The film stars Ryan Guzman, Kathryn McCormick, Misha Gabriel, Cleopatra Coleman, Stephen "tWitch" Boss, Tommy Dewey, and Peter Gallagher. ''Step Up Revolution'' was released in the United States on July 27, 2012, by Summit Entertainment, through conventional 2D and 3D formats. It became the first film in the series to not be co-produced by Touchstone Pictures nor distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and the first film to be released by Summit after being acquired by Lions Gate Entertainment in January 2012. Scott Speer
Scott Speer (born June 5, 1982) is an American filmmaker, music video director, television director and novelist. Life and career Speer was born in San Diego, California. At age 23, he was signed with ''HSI Productions'', and in 2006 Speer received the MVPA Award for ''Directorial Debut of the Year'' for the music video of "Stars (Switchfoot song), Stars" by Switchfoot. 3-D Film
3D films are motion pictures made to give an illusion of three-dimensional solidity, usually with the help of special glasses worn by viewers. Adam G. Sewani (born June 29, 1992) is an American actor and dancer, known for playing Robert Alexander III / Moose in the Step Up film series. Acting career In February 2008, Sevani appeared in the Touchstone Pictures dance drama film '' Step Up 2: The Streets'', the second installment of the '' Step Up'' film series. The film centered on a group of students who form a dance troupe and battle on the streets.
