Stelvio Mestrovich
Stelvio Mestrovich (, born 20 June 1948) is a writer, born in Zadar, then part of Yugoslavia, today in Croatia. His parents were Italian people, Italian. He has contributed to the Viennese magazine ''LOG (magazine), LOG'', under the auspices of UNESCO, and has an entry in the ''Dizionoir'', published by Delos Books. His first novel, ''Suor Franziska'', won the 2009 Viareggio-Farabolina Prize. ''Log'' is an independent magazine on architecture and the contemporary city that has been published by the Anyone Corporation since 2003 and is edited by Cynthia Davidson. Zadar
Zadar ( , ; historically known as Zara (from Venetian and Italian: ); see also other names), is the oldest continuously inhabited Croatian city. Musicology (from Greek μουσική ''mousikē'' 'music' and -λογια ''-logia'', 'domain of study') is the scholarly analysis and research-based study of music. Musicology departments traditionally belong to the humanities, although some music research is scientific in focus (psychological, sociological, acoustical, neurological, computational). Some geographers and anthropologists have an interest in musicology so the social sciences also have an academic interest. A scholar who participates in musical research is a musicologist. Musicology traditionally is divided in three main branches: historical musicology, systematic musicology and ethnomusicology.
