''Stella and Sam'' is a Canadian children's television series based on the Canada, Canadian book series "Stella" and "Sam" by Marie-Louise Gay and published by Groundwood Books Inc. The series was developed for television by Radical Sheep Productions. This series no longer airs on Family Jr. in Canada as of September 1, 2016. The French-language version of this show, ''Stella et Sacha'', premiered on Disney Junior Télé on Sunday, October 3, 2010. The English-language version of the series premiered on the former Disney Junior channel on Sunday, January 9, 2011. The show's theme music is performed by singer Emilie Mover. Pakapaka is an Argentine television channel and website providing shows and original programming for children ages 2 to 12 and their families. Launched initially as a programming section in the Encuentro television channel on September 23, 2007, and later as a digital terrestrial television and FTA channel on September 17, 2010, although regular transmissions begun on September 9.
