Stefanos Dedas
Stefanos Dedas (Greek: Στέφανος Δέδας; born May 10, 1982) is a Greek ''(from Vafiochori, Kilkis)'' professional basketball head coach. He is currently the assistant coach for CSKA Moscow of the VTB United League. Coaching career Clubs Dedas began his basketball coaching career, being only 19 years old, with PAOK, working there from 2001 to 2004, as an assistant. In 2004, he became the assistant coach of MENT, and later that season, he became the head coach of the club. The next season, he became the assistant coach of Jure Zdovc, at Iraklis B.C., Iraklis. From 2007 to 2009, he was the head coach of OFI Crete. He was also assistant coach of the Greek club Aris, and the Russian club Spartak Saint Petersburg, from 2009 to 2011, and from 2011 to 2013 respectively. Basketbol Süper Ligi
The Basketball Super League ( tr, Basketbol Süper Ligi; BSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1966) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the second-tier and third-tier divisions. The BSL is administrated by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) and is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the second-tier TBL and replaced by the top two teams of that division. Since the league's restructuring in 1966, 11 clubs have been crowned champions, with Anadolu Efes winning the title a record 15 times and Fenerbahçe 10 times. 2020–21 BIBL Season
The 2020–21 BIBL season is the 12th edition of Balkan International Basketball League (BIBL). Besides 6 teams from Bulgaria, Montenegro and North Macedonia, 12 teams from Israel joined the competition, after temporary suspension of 2020-2021 Israeli Basketball League due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These 12 teams played inside of Israel in first round of regular season and the best two teams joined the other 4 Balkan teams, which qualified from the Balkan group. Georgios Dedas (alternate spellings: Giorgos, Yiorgos) (Greek: Γιώργος Δέδας; born January 2, 1980) is a retired Greek professional basketball player and professional basketball coach. During his playing career, at a height of 2.00 m (6'6 ") tall and a weight of 100 kg (220 lbs.), he played at the shooting guard and small forward positions. Professional career After playing basketball as a youth in Kilkis, with the youth teams of Aetos Kilkis, Dedas began his professional career in 1999, with MENT Thessaloniki. The 2009 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2009, was the 36th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe. Greek Basket League
The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA ( el, ΕΣΑΚΕ, link=no), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). It is the highest-tier level of the Greek league system. Jure Zdovc
Jurij "Jure" Zdovc (born 13 December 1966) is a Slovenian former professional basketball player and coach Zdovc Returning to Helm of National Team.] As a player, he was a 1.98 m (6'6") tall point guard, who began his professional playing career with the Yugoslav Second Division club Smelt Olimpija. During his playing career, he was a two-time member of the FIBA European Selection, in the years 1990 and 1991, and a FIBA EuroStar selection, in 1996. VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan.
