Stefano Napoleoni
Stefano Napoleoni (born 26 June 1986) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Serie D club Real Monterotondo. Club career Widzew Łódź Napoleoni became the first ever Italian player to play in the Polish Ekstraklasa. Joining him later at Widzew Łódź was Joseph Dayo Oshadogan. He moved to Levadiakos after Widzew Łódź were relegated at the end of 2008. Levadiakos In January 2009 he signed for Greek club Levadiakos, after APOEL FC had withdrawn its interest in signing him player. Throughout the years, he became an idol for the fans of Levadiakos. In July 2012, six months before his contract with Levadiakos expired, Napoleoni was attracting interest from West Bromwich Albion. He left Levadiakos in December 2012 at the end of his contract. Levadiakos Football Club ( el, ΠΑΕ Λεβαδειακός) is a Greek professional football club that plays in the Super League Greece. Based in Livadeia, Greece, the club was promoted to the Alpha Ethniki, forerunner of the Super League, after ten seasons in minor divisions in the 2005–06 season, as runner-up of the Football League in 2004–05. It was then relegated to the Beta Ethniki again in 2006–07 and returned to the top tier in 2007–08. I liga ( pl, Pierwsza liga, ), currently named Fortuna I liga due to its sponsorship by Fortuna, is the men's second professional association football division of the Polish football league system, below the Ekstraklasa and above the II liga via promotion/relegation systems. The 2008–09 I liga was the 61st season of the second tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949 and the 1st season of the Polish I liga under its current title (new name). Formerly, the league was known as the II liga (while the current II liga was known as the III liga). The league was operated by the Polish Football Association (PZPN). The league was contested by 18 teams who competing for promotion to the 2009–10 Ekstraklasa. The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The champions and runners-up will receive automatic promotion. At the other end, the bottom four teams face automatic demotion to the II liga, while the fate of the 13th and 14th-place finishers will be decided by playoffs. The 2007–08 Ekstraklasa started in July 2007 and ended in mid-May 2008. It was run by the Ekstraklasa SA. The Polish Champion will qualify for the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round. The runner-up and winner of the Polish Cup will qualify for the UEFA Cup first qualifying round. The third placed team will qualify for the second round of the UEFA Intertoto Cup. The 2006–07 Ekstraklasa started on 28 July 2006 and finished on 26 May 2007. Zagłębie Lubin were crowned champions.
