Stefan Kuhn
Stefan Kuhn (born October 1, 1979) is a Canadian cross-country skier and chef. Kuhn was born in Banff and competed in various international skiing events from 1998 to 2000,. Accessed on February 17, 2010. before retiring in 2001 to become a full-time chef. In 2005, while working at a fine restaurant in Edmonton, Kuhn decided to relaunch his cross-country career. He participated in his first World Cup race in December 2005. Kuhn's best finish in the World Cup is a 15th place in a sprint event in Kuusamo in 2008. Canmore is a town in Alberta, Canada, located approximately west of Calgary near the southeast boundary of Banff National Park. It is located in the Bow Valley within Alberta's Rocky Mountains. The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 took place 22 February – 4 March 2007 in Sapporo, Japan. It was the second time this city has hosted these championships, having previously done so in the 1972 Winter Olympics. Sapporo was selected as venue by vote at the 43rd FIS World Congress in Portorož, Slovenia, on 6 June 2002.
