Artur Mägi
Artur Mägi (August 29, 1904 - November 9, 1981) was an Estonian legal scientist and the Chancellor of Justice of Estonia while it was in exile. Biography Mägi studied at the University of Tartu, Faculty of law from 1923 to 1929. In 1944 Mägi fled with his wife to Sweden. From 1953 to 1963 Mägi was a lecturer at the Estonian Scientific Institute ( et, Eesti Teaduslik Instituut). He was also a member of the .Ero Liivik. Heinrich Mark
Heinrich Mark (1 October 1911 – 2 August 2004) was an Estonian politician and Prime Minister of the Estonian Government in Exile. He was Prime Minister in duties of the President of the Republic of Estonia from 1 March 1990 to 6 October 1992, being the last Estonian head of state in exile, as Estonian independence was restored in 1991. Life Mark was one of four brothers: Adolf (1905–1947; died in a Siberian prison camp), Albert (1907–1945; killed as a Forest Brother) and Aksel (1913–2014), who was an agronomist, journalist and Estonian Minister of the Interior in exile between 1962 and 1992. Katrin Nyman-Metcalf (born 7 May 1963) is an Estonian-Swedish legal scholar. From 1990 to 1992 she was the State Secretary of Estonia of the Estonian government-in-exile. She was born in Stockholm to Estonian-Swedish engineer Einar Nyman and Estonian textbook author and drawing teacher . In 1987, she graduated from Uppsala University's Faculty of Law. Ülo Kaevats
Ülo Kaevats (29 September 1947 – 30 January 2015) was an Estonian statesman, academic and philosopher. In 1972, he graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Chemistry of the University of Tartu with a qualification from a physicist and a research philosopher. Kaevats obtained a PhD from Vilnius State University in Lithuania. He served for many years (1989–1992, 1995–2000) as editor-in-chief of the Estonian Encyclopaedia, the main national work of reference; earlier, he worked as a research fellow at the Estonian and the USSR Academies of Sciences, mostly in the History of Science field.
