Maharashtra State Highway 2, (commonly referred to as MH SH 2), is a state highway in northern Maharashtra. This nomenclature is adopted for a short 55-kilometer state highway; the route is as follows (includes major villages): Mhasavad – Islampur – Lakkadkot – Ranipur – Nagziri – Toranmal. It connects the above-mentioned villages to the tehsil headquarter at Shahada. The traffic on the route being limited, it's designed for light two-way traffic only. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited (Marathi: महाराष्ट्र राज्यमार्ग विकास महामंडळ मर्यादित), commonly abbreviated as MSRDC, is an Indian public limited company fully owned by the Government of Maharashtra. MSRDC was established on July 9, 1996 and incorporated as a public limited company under the Companies Act 1956 on August 2, 1996. Toranmal
Toranmal is a Hill Station in the municipal council of the Nandurbar district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. One can reach through Shahada. It is a hill station located in the Satpura Range. Its Gorakhnath Temple is the site of a Yatra attended by thousands of devotees on Mahashivratri. On that occasion pilgrims walk barefoot for days from surrounding areas in the Nandurbar district but also from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. This state highway touches numerous cities and villages, namely Songir, Chimthane, Dondaicha, Nimgul, Shahada, Dhadgaon, Kathi, Molgi, Wadifali and then proceeds south-west towards Maharashtra-Gujarat state border.
