Staffan Tapper
Staffan Lars Anders Tapper (born 10 July 1948) is a Swedish former footballer who played as a midfielder for Malmö FF and the Sweden national team. A full international between 1971 and 1978, he won 36 caps for Sweden and played at the 1974 and 1978 FIFA World Cups. Career Playing for Malmö FF, his career there was successful, becoming Swedish champion in 1974, 1975 and 1977, as well as runner-up in the European Cup 1979 (a 0–1 defeat to Nottingham Forest). He represented the Swedish national team at the 1974 and 1978 World Cups as well as on a number of other occasions. However, many remember him for missing a penalty kick against Poland at the 1974 World Cup. For some time, Tapper was first team coach at Malmö FF, he later resigned from that role to become youth talent coach. Personal life He is the son of Börje Tapper. Börje Tapper
Börje Tapper (19 May 1922 – 8 April 1981) was a Swedish footballer who played as a midfielder for Malmö FF, Genoa, and the Sweden national team. He won four caps for Sweden and was a squad member at the 1950 FIFA World Cup. Career Tapper started his playing career at Håkanstorp before moving on to Malmö FF. He played for the club between 1939 and 1950, when he went to Italy and Genoa. He did not succeed in Italy and when he came home to Sweden, he was not allowed to play in Allsvenskan anymore due to the policy at the time. He is Malmö FF's second best goalscorer ever with 298 goals. He later coached Lunds BK. The 5 July 1962 Stadium () (the name refers to 5 July 1962, the day Algeria declared independence), is a football and athletics stadium located in Algiers, Algeria. The stadium was inaugurated in 1972 with a capacity of 95,000. It served as the main stadium of the 1975 Mediterranean Games, the 1978 All-Africa Games, the 2004 Pan Arab Games, and the 2007 All-Africa Games. The stadium was one of two venues of the 1990 African Cup of Nations (the other venue was the 19 May 1956 Stadium in Annaba). It hosted 9 matches of the tournament, including the final match, which had a second record attendance of 105,302 spectators. Uddevalla (old no, Oddevold) is a town and the seat of Uddevalla Municipality in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. In 2015, it had a population of 34 781. It is located at a bay of the south-eastern part of Skagerrak. The beaches of Uddevalla are filled with seashells and Uddevalla has one of the largest shell-banks in the world. Rimnersvallen is a multi-use stadium in Uddevalla, Sweden. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 10,605 people. The ground was opened on 5 May 1923 and was then rebuilt for the 1958 World Cup for which the stadium hosted two games. One of the World Cup matches played at Rimnersvallen was between Brazil and Austria. The 1978 FIFA World Cup was the 11th edition of the FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football world championship tournament among the men's senior national teams. It was held in Argentina between 1 and 25 June. The Cup was won by the host nation, Argentina, who defeated the Netherlands 3–1 in the final, after extra time.
