Michigan's 95th State House District is a Michigan legislative district currently located in part of Gladwin County and all of Midland County. Previously, under the 2000 US Census, the 95th district was part of Saginaw County, and included the city of Saginaw, Buena Vista Township, Spaulding Township, and Bridgeport Township. As a result of decennial legislative redistricting, proceeding the findings of the 2010 US Census, the district boundaries will expand to include Carrollton Township, James Township, Kochville Township, and the city of Zilwaukee and Zilwaukee Township. Jennifer Mulhern Granholm (born February 5, 1959) is a Canadian-American lawyer, educator, author, political commentator, and politician serving as the 16th United States secretary of energy since 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served as the 47th governor of Michigan from 2003 to 2011, and as the attorney general of Michigan from 1999 to 2003, as the first woman to hold both offices. The Attorney General of the State of Michigan is the fourth-ranking official in the U.S. state of Michigan. The officeholder is elected statewide in the November general election alongside the governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, members of the Senate and members of the House of Representatives. Saginaw High School
Saginaw High School (part of the Saginaw City School District) is located in Saginaw, Michigan, USA. The student enrollment is 593 students. History The school was established in 1865 as East Side High School. Alice Freeman Palmer, who later became President of Wellesley College, was principal of the school from 1877 to 1879. In early 2014, there was some debate about closing the school. Many people disliked the idea and instead offered an 8th through 12th grade starting fall of 2014. In the fall of 2024, Saginaw High is scheduled to be closed as a high school, and turned into a middle school for the students on the east side Saginaw.
