Cassie Campion
Cassandra "Cassie" Jackman (born 22 December 1972 and competing in some years as Cassie Campion) is a former English squash player who won the World Open in 1999. She was England's leading player throughout much of the 1990s and early 21st century. She retired due to a recurring back injury in December 2004. Jackman was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2004 Birthday Honours for services to squash. Career Born in North Walsham, Norfolk, she won five British under-23 titles, and five senior British national titles. Paul Johnson (squash Player)
Paul Johnson (born 18 July 1972) is a former professional squash player from England. Squash career Paul Johnson played for Greenwich in the London Youth Games when growing up and was inducted into the London Youth Games Hall of Fame in 2011. Johnson reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 4 in 1999. At the 1998 Commonwealth Games, he won a gold medal for England in Kuala Lumpur, in the men's doubles (partnering Mark Chaloner), and a bronze medal in the men's singles. Michelle Susan Martin, OAM (born 29 April 1967) is an Australian former professional squash player who was one of the game's leading players in the 1990s. She was ranked number one in the world from 1993 to 1996 and again in 1998 and 1999, and won three World Open titles and six British Open titles. Biography and career Martin was born on 29 April 1967 in Sydney, as the fourth of six children. Her older brothers Brett and Rodney also went on to be top professional players. Her parents, who had built the Engadine Squash Centre below their family home, introduced her to the game when she was three years old. Peter Nicol (born 5 April 1973) is a former professional squash player from Scotland, who represented first Scotland and then England in international squash. In 1998, while still competing for Scotland, he became the first player from the UK to hold the World No. 1 ranking. During his career, he won one World Open title, two British Open titles, and four Commonwealth Games Gold Medals. The 2022 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth of Nations that took place in Birmingham, England between 28 July and 8 August 2022. 2018 Commonwealth Games
The 2018 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXI Commonwealth Games and also known as Gold Coast 2018, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth that were held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, between 4 and 15 April 2018. It was the fifth time Australia had hosted the Commonwealth Games and the first time a major multi-sport had an equal number of events for male and female athletes. 4,426 athletes including 300 para-athletes from 71 Commonwealth Games Associations took part in the event.
