''Sportloto-82'' (russian: Спортлото-82) is a 1982 Soviet comedy film directed by Leonid Gaidai. The film stars Algis Arlauskas, Svetlana Amanova, Mikhail Pugovkin, Mikhail Kokshenov and Nina Grebeshkova. It was filmed in Soviet Union. It was also one of the all-time leaders at the Soviet box office with over 55,000,000 theatre admissions in the Soviet era. Plot During hot summer in a compartment of a train en route to the city Yuzhnogorsk four passengers come into view. A young somewhat scatterbrained man Konstantin Lukow working as a driver for the police; Tatiana Pegova, a fetching young girl; San Sanych Murashko, an elderly imposing man, and Mikhail Golubev, a cheerful sprightly guy. Leonid Iovich Gaidai (russian: Леонид Иович Гайдай; 30 January 1923 – 19 November 1993) was a Soviet and Russian comedy film director, screenwriter and actor who enjoyed immense popularity and broad public recognition in the former Soviet Union. Sergey Nikolayevich Filippov (russian: Сергей Николаевич Филиппов, 24 June 1912— 19 April 1990) was a Soviet and Russian film and stage actor and comedian, best known for his parts in films ''Adventures of Korzinkina'' (1941), ''The Night Patrol'' (1957) and the adaptation of Ilf and Petrov's classic ''The Twelve Chairs'' (1971), which granted him the People's Artist of the RSFSR title in 1974. Mikhail Ivanovich Pugovkin (russian: Михаи́л Ива́нович Пу́говкин; July 13, 1923, Rameshki, Chukhlomsky District of Kostroma Oblast — July 25, 2008, Moscow) (aged 85) was a Soviet and Russian comic actor named a People's Artist of the USSR in 1988. He studied in the Moscow Art Theatre school under Ivan Moskvin, took part in World War II and, following demobilisation, was featured in the 1944 all-star cast adaptation of Anton Chekhov's '' The Wedding''. Another step to stardom was the 1967 comedy ''Wedding in Malinovka''. Pugovkin went on to appear in more than 100 films. Mikhail Mikhailovich Kokshenov (16 September 1936, Moscow – 4 June 2020, Krasnogorsky District, Moscow Oblast) was a Soviet and Russian actor, film director and screenwriter. People's Artist of Russia (2002). Biography Mikhail Kokshenov was born on 16 September 1936 in Moscow. He spent his childhood in the Zamoskvorechye District. The actor's parents in the 1930s lived in the Far East of the USSR: in the village of Monomakhovo, the Far Eastern Krai, now the Dalnegorsky District of the Primorsky Krai.
