Gloucester ( ) is a cathedral city and the county town of Gloucestershire in the South West of England. 1986 ICC Trophy
The 1986 ICC Trophy was a limited-overs cricket tournament held in England between 11 June and 7 July 1986. It was the third ICC Trophy tournament to be staged, and as with the previous two tournaments, games between the 16 participating teams played over 60 overs a side and with white clothing and red balls. All matches except the final were played in the Midlands, but the final was held at Lord's, London. George Dennett
Edward George Dennett (27 April 1879 – 15 September 1937) was a left arm spinner for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club between 1903 and 1926, and from his figures could be considered one of the best bowlers never to play Test cricket. Owing to the strength of the competition at the time, Dennett was never able to progress even to lower representative levels. He failed even to be nominated as a Wisden Cricketer of the Year, though he would have been a strong candidate to be chosen in 1913. The Wisden Cricketer's Almanack picked John Wisden that year, 29 years after his death, to commemorate the 50th year of its publication. William East (1872–1926) was an English cricketer active from 1896 to 1914, played for Northamptonshire. He appeared in 163 first-class matches as a right arm medium pace bowler who was a right-handed batsman. East was born in Northampton on 29 August 1872 and died in Abington, Northamptonshire on 19 December 1926.
