Sovereign Strength was an American Christian hardcore band from Lancaster, California. The band has played with Saving Grace (band), Saving Grace as well as many other bands, such as Norma Jean (band), Norma Jean, Texas In July, The Chariot (band), The Chariot, Sleeping Giant (band), Sleeping Giant, and War of Ages, on the Scream the Prayer Tour. In 2015, the band briefly reunited to play a benefit show for Daniel Colato, a friend of the band's who was killed by a drunk driving, drunk driver. Norma Jean (formerly known as Luti-Kriss) is an American metalcore band from Douglasville, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Since their inception in 1997, numerous lineup changes have left the band with no original members. To date, Norma Jean has released nine studio albums and received a Grammy Award nomination in 2006 for Best Recording Package for their second album ''O' God, the Aftermath''. The band's name is derived from the real name of actress Marilyn Monroe. The Scream the Prayer Tour, also known as Scream the Prayer, or simply STP, was an American Christian metalcore/Christian hardcore, hardcore music worship tour, presented by INRI Clothing. The tour had been held annually since it began, in mid-2008. The Chariot was an American hardcore punk band from Douglasville, Georgia, that existed from 2003 to 2013. The last lineup consisted of drummer David Kennedy, vocalist and bandleader Josh Scogin, and guitarists Brandon Henderson and Stephen Harrison. The band experienced frequent lineup changes since its inception, with Scogin being the only original member. The band played an abrasive style of metalcore that did not adhere to typical stylings popular among their contemporaries such as melodic/abrasive dynamics and harmonic vocals. They built a reputation around their powerful live performances, with Scogin's lyrics covering topics like materialism, personal struggle, current events, politics, and Christian themes. Texas in July was an American metalcore band from Ephrata, Pennsylvania, formed in 2007. They released an EP, ''Salt of the Earth'', and their debut full-length album, ''I Am'', through CI Records. After signing with Equal Vision Records, they released three more studio albums: '' One Reality'' on April 26, 2011; a self-titled album on October 9, 2012; and finally '' Bloodwork'' on September 16, 2014. Saving Grace is a Christian metal band from Gisborne, New Zealand. They were the first foreign band to sign to Strike First Records. Their album, '' The Urgency'', debuted at No. 3 on the New Zealand Top 20 albums chart alongside multi-platinum sellers Lorde and Sole Mio and also debuted at No. 57 on the ''Billboard'' Hard Music Chart and No. 59 on the ''Billboard'' Heatseekers Chart in the United States.
