Southern Coffey County Junior-Senior High School is a fully accredited public high school located in LeRoy, Kansas, in the LeRoy-Gridley USD 245 school district, serving students in grades 7–12. SCC has an enrollment of approximately 118 students. The principal is Russ Mildward. The school mascot is the Titans and the school colors are blue and yellow. The school operates on a 4-day school week, with students only attending classes Monday through Thursday. Extracurricular Activities The Titans compete in the Lyon County League. LeRoy, Kansas
LeRoy is a city in Coffey County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 451. History LeRoy was founded in 1855. It was named after the city of Le Roy, Illinois. The first post office in LeRoy (a name also spelled historically as Leroy) was established in 1856. During the Civil War the town had a military post from 1861 to 1864. LeRoy's post was one of a number of posts in eastern Kansas that existed to guard against Confederate guerrilla attacks and attacks by unfriendly Indians. On May 22, 1862, the 1st Regiment, Indian Home Guard was organized at Le Roy. Geography LeRoy is located at (38.083958, -95.633139). Blue

Yellow

KSHSAA
The Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) is the organization which oversees interscholastic competition in the U.S. state of Kansas at the high-school level. It oversees both athletic and non-athletic competition, and sponsors championships in several sports and activities. History The Kansas State High School Activities Association was formed in 1937 and incorporated in 1956. As early as 1910, Kansas schools organized the statewide Debate League and Athletic Association governed by high school principals. The Athletic Association started as a small voluntary group of fewer than 50 schools and grew to more than 500 schools by the 1920s. Out of necessity, the member schools adopted eligibility and participation rules and established authority for a Board of Control to assess penalties against schools for violations.
